Brief & Proposition

My brief for this project is to create environmentally and skin friendly make up products that are for a female audience. The unique selling point of my cosmetic products will be that they are made from natural ingredients therefore reducing the amount of harsh chemicals that are in them. This will not only make your skin feel healthier and happier but will also be a huge benefit to those who suffer allergic or general reactions from certain chemicals that are featured in a lot of make up products. I myself can say that my skin can get irritated from certain foundations and creams due to the ingredients. Therefore my unit brief is to create a variety of cosmetic packagings that feature natural ingredients that will fix this problem.

These ingredients could be items such as coconut oil, honey, rose oil, avocado, various fruits, aloe vera and many more. The packaging will be heavily focused on making sure it shows that it is a natural ingredient product as it is the unique selling point and each product will feature a design of that ingredient so to show what it is made out of.
